How do I book my first session?

Choose a clinician and a time on the booking page. You will need a free account so we can keep your intake form and sessions together. If you would rather talk first, book a free 20-minute introductory call.

What happens in the first session?

Your clinician will explain how confidentiality works, ask what brings you here and listen. There is no test and no pressure to talk about anything you are not ready for. Before your first full session we ask you to complete a short, confidential intake form.

How much do sessions cost?

Individual 50-minute sessions range from £55 to £100 depending on the clinician, and couples sessions (80 minutes) from £120 to £150. Fees are shown before you book. Introductory calls are free. Clients on a low income may qualify for a concession rate of 75% of the standard fee.

What if I need to cancel or move a session?

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your session from your account. Later cancellations and missed sessions are charged at the full fee because the time cannot be offered to anyone else. Introductory calls are never charged.

Are sessions confidential?

Accepted Answer

Yes. What you say stays with your clinician, who keeps private notes that no one else at the practice can read. The only exceptions are the rare situations where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to others, which your clinician will explain at the start.

Can I have sessions online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most clinicians offer secure video sessions and many offer a mix of video and in-person. You choose when you book and can change next time. Our rooms are at 14 Clifton Hill, Bristol, with step-free access to the Willow room.

I am in crisis. What should I do?
